I like the way you ended each introduction, with a claim or question that can be argued and answered. This exhibits signs of a strong introduction as it establishes the basis surrounding your argument that will be pursued throughout the essay. To improve, the first paragraph uses a lot of repetition in the phrase "The author", so I would try to use a wider variety of vocabulary. I would also establish how the context of this essay influences themes explored in the article.
ReplyDeleteGood blog post, and solid argument. You were able to articulate it well. You just need a little more detail to make this introduction as good as it can be, specifically the demographic of the readers, and the people being marginalized. Solid theses however you need to add in the "why are you writing about this?" part to it to help create relevance for the essay that you will then write using this introduction.
